Questions to ask your GP:
"Explain this contract clause in plain English: 'The Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence…' What am I not allowed to do?"
Non-exclusive: The company can give the same licence to other customers — you don't have it to yourself.
Non-transferable: You cannot pass this licence on to another person or company — for example, you cannot sell the software on or include it in something you're selling.
Revocable: They can take it away. If you breach the terms, or sometimes just if they choose to, they can switch off your access.
